Airport Director appeals for medical supplies to fight Covid-19 Pandemic

The Director of Juba International airport Kur Kuol is appealing to non-governmental organizations to assist with medical supplies to help fight the corona virus pandemic.
 
He told journalist that in order for the airport to resume full function, there is need for support from willing individuals and organizations, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
Kuol said the support includes mask, testing machines and sanitizers to fight covid-19.
 
Chief of Mission for International Organization for Migration or IOM Jean-Philip Chauzy said his organization has been supporting three airports in the country.
He said the support includes screening and provision of medical supplies to fight covid-19.
 
Meanwhile, US Ambassador to South Sudan Thomas Hushek urged the government to learn to live with the virus.
 
He called for the airport to be kept operational.
 
The officials made the remarks on Wednesday in Juba.
