Kindness Community Development Organization or KICDO in Western Bhar El Ghazal state conducts one day training for women on soap making.
The organization’s Executive Director Yohanna Philip says the training aims at helping women on how to produce both liquid and solid soap to fight COVID-19.
UNMISS Representative Lutfi Abdurrahman calls on the participants to practice the skills and knowledge acquired from the training.
He urges participants to cooperate and use the skills gained to start their own business.
Meanwhile Ministry of Health Representative Dr. Natale Massmino appreciates the national NGO and UNMISS Civil Affairs office for helping the community in the fight against COVID-19.
He adds cleaning and disinfecting objects requires the use of soap.
Massmino appeals to KICDO and UNMISS to expand this training to health workers and other communities.
The training organized by KICDO brought together 20 women from different areas of Wau County.
