Yei citizens call on Emmanuel Adil to reform Central Equatoria

Citizens in Yei River County are expecting the new Governor of Central Equatoria, Emmanuel Adil Anthony to create reforms in all sectors to move the state forward in terms of development.
 
Central Equatoria State and South Sudan at large has been experiencing insecurity, poor infrastructure, violence and under representation of youth and women before independence and worsens after the outbreak of war in the country.
 
While expressing their happiness after the appointment of Adil as governor of Central Equatoria, citizens of Yei River County anticipate him to reform all sectors, including security, infrastructure and reconcile the conflicting communities.
 
Citizen Joyce Kiden describes Emmanuel Adil as a good leader when he was serving as a governor of former Yei River State.
 
She appeals to the governor to consider youth and women representation, especially the 35 percent stipulated in the 2018 peace agreement.
 
Joyce also expects the appointed governor to open boarding schools for girls and take into consideration female leadership to achieve tangible goals.
 
Meanwhile Satimon Ale Samuel, former Youth chairperson in the defunct state congratulates the president for trusting Emmanuel Adil to lead the state.
 
Member of Parliament Daniel Lokoroto Arama also expresses his gratitude for the appointment of Adil.
 
He says the gathering signifies a strong stand and support for him to lead Central Equatorial State.
 
The MP pledges to support the leadership through legislation.
