Yei Civil Society Organization Forum chairperson Mustafa Adam said the drastically rising of COVID-19 and the recorded dead toll needs collective responsibility.
He appealed to members of the public to tell the community to protected and maintain the social distancing measure Radio Easter reported.
He stressed that changing behaviours is a process, not a one day journey.
Umba Peter, Yei Anti-COVID19 Awareness officer they are lobby with international agencies to reinforce and increase their support to local initiatives to lead the campaign.
He revealed that there are complains about the messages of COVID19 in
English not received well with the local communities due to misinterpretation.
The officer mentioned that UNMISS and UNICEF are supporting the initiative, but the approach is different.
