Episcopal Bishop of Morobo province of Central Equatoria State says the appointment of governors gives people high hope of improved security situation in South Sudan.
Bishop James Kenyi Elia told Radio Easter that what is expected now is the ministerial position and appointment of county commissioners.
He adds commissioners are the chairmen of security in the county.
Bishop Kenyi reveals that returnees from Congo to Morobo County are in dare need of humanitarian assistance as they are now occupying church compounds without shelter.
The bishop reiterates that no organizations have supported the returnees’ except host community give them food harvested from their home gardens.
The ECS prelate calls for humanitarian agency to quickly rescue the situation of these vulnerable people in Morobo County.
The Episcopal Bishop was speaking to Radio Easter during his short visit to Yei on Tuesday.
