Coordinator of civil society women monthly forum Betty Sunday says President Kiir’s decision to appoint one female governor in the eight states contravenes the 35% affirmative action provided in the peace agreement.
She calls on the government to appoint women in the remaining gubernatorial positions of Jonglei and Upper Nile state.
