Dozens of people were killed in a revenge attack in greater Tonj North County.
Speaking to Donbosco Radio, the Executive Director of defunct Warrap County, Aduot Ayany Aleu attributes the escalation of violence to revenge attack.
He says 15 people were killed in the two-day fight including two local chiefs.
The official adds local authorities have been dispatched to rescue the situation.
Meanwhile, former commissioner of defunct Awul county Angelo Yak Bol confirmed that the two days fighting claimed lives and many others wounded.
The officials were talking to Don Bosco Radio over the weekend in Tonj.
