At least 50 girls and women have been trained on production of reusable sanitary pads.
The training was organized by Health Aid Services Initiative and targeted vulnerable girls and women living at Mangateen Internally Displaced Camp.
Program Manager of the organization Abraham Pieng says the training will help the girls produce their own cheap durable sanitary pads.
One of the beneficiaries Nyalith Wiepan says the reusable pads will help reduce the amount of money she spend on disposable pads.
She adds one reusable pad can be used for over a year when well maintained.
The speakers were talking to Bahkita radio in Juba.
