A Catechist of St Teresa Parish in the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek was reportedly killed accidentally by a rope while going to his farm on Sunday at Matangai area in Rumbek town.
Samuel Manyang Idriss, the eceased’s brother, says his brother was travelling at 6:30Am with his son and nephew to cultivate when they accidentally got trapped in a rope that was pulling out a stranded truck.
State Police Spokesperson Elijah Mabor Makuac said drivers of the two trucks are undergoing investigations at their station.
Catechist Samuel Manyang Idriss was a graduate of Rural Development at Rumbek University of Science and Technology.
