Secretary-General of the Catholic diocese of Yei Fr. Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit advised people to put their trust in God rather than on their power and responsibility.
He preached that many of the earthly and worldly rulers leaders always has bad ending because they trust in themselves, Radio Easter reported.
Fr. Lodongo said ‘Jesus is not telling us to revenge like what is happening in South Sudan and other nations, but Jesus is advising us to be humble and put trust in God’.
He stressed that ‘to enter the kingdom of God and live in harmony and peace we need to be humble’.
The Secretary-General was preaching at Christ the King Cathedral on Tuesday while presiding over the requiem mass of Sister Mary Jeanna of the Sacred Heart Sisters who died on Friday in Juba.
