Sudan postpones peace deal due to division among parties

The peace talks between the Sudanese government and armed groups have been postponed due to division amongst parties, said Secretary of the South Sudan mediation team Dr. Dhieu Mathok Diing.
 
Bakhita radio quoted him disclosing that absence of some key government officials also let to the postponement of the talks.
 
Dr. Mathok said most of articles including power sharing and security in the negotiations have been agreed upon.
 
Juba government led by President Salva Kiir Mayardit initiated the peace talks of the Sudan in 2019.
