South Sudan Women Network for Visually Impaired Persons has urged the public, including her fellow colleagues to take the Covid-19 preventive measures seriously to combat the pandemic.

Speaking to Bakhita Radio in an interview, Zakia Musa, a member of the network asks South Sudanese to cooperate and collectively overcome the pandemic.

Zakia says there are stereotypes spreading that people with disabilities are spreading the virus.

She adds that because of the rumours, people with disabilities are being denied access to services.
