A Local Artist in Western Bahr el Ghazal State on Wednesday donated two self pictures monopod to Voice of Hope Radio to be used as recorder monopod to observe social distancing while doing an interview.
Elia Joseph famously known by his stage name as Eli Jay MK says the monopod will prevent reporters from contracting the deadly virus when in the field.
Voice of hope’s news editor Simona Ali expresses her gratitude to the artist for being proactive to the journalists.
She adds the management will make sure that the reporters use the monopods while on assignment for their own safety.
Meanwhile, the Station Manager Batista Elario appreciates the artist for donation to boost the fight against COVID-19.
He calls on citizen to continue observing the preventive measures for their safety.
The speakers made the remarks on Wednesday afternoon at Palica premises in Wau.
