The taskforce committee on coronavirus in Western Bhar el Ghazal State urges security forces to re-enforce COVID-19 precautionary measures to reduce spread of the virus.
This announcement came during their ordinary meeting on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Dr. James Ambrose Ucin says the committee observed low response from citizens to take preventive measures seriously.
‘Therefore the taskforce is going to handover the duty of enforcing precautionary measures to security forces in order for citizens to take these measures seriously’, says Ambrose.
Dr. Ambrose calls on citizens to follow the health preventive measures to protect themselves and their loved ones from getting infected.
The Taskforce Spokesperson made the statement to Voice of Hope Radio on Tuesday at state Council of Ministers after the committee’s ordinary meeting in Wau.
