We have the great privilege of pouring our hearts out to God Because of the body and blood of Jesus Christ to bring us reconciliation and unity, said Catholic priest.
Fr. John Vonjo on Sunday preached that the body and blood of Jesus Christ is the sacrament of union which allow us to enter into God’s presence.
‘Because of Christ shed blood, God is able to forgive us our sins and give the punishment that we deserved to Christ to enable us enter into a new relationship with God’, he stressed.
Fr. Vonjo said peace and unity are very important and should be started from homes, workplaces to show Christian values in people’s lives.
The priest encouraged all faithful to pray hard for God to unite South Sudanese as brothers and sisters and bring leaders to observe peace and unity in the country.
Fr. John Vonjo was giving his homily to the faithful of Sacred Heart Parish Raja during the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ on Sunday.
