Children in Western Bahr El Ghazal Wau state this morning mentioned some reasons why they are involved in heavy works which do not even match their ages.
Some children said their parents have travelled and they are the only ones supporting themselves and their families.
They disclosed that some of them are mistreated by some family members and sometimes they are not even given food at homes.
Others mentioned that they went to markets to help and provide themselves with some basic needs because some of their parents are not supporting them.
The children spoke on Sunday marking International Child Labour Day.
