Administrator of the former Yei River State Amule Felix Sosthense calls for capacity building of farmers, youth and women on COVID-19.
He said if all categories are trained on the guidelines and measures against COVID-19, there would be good practices across the country.
Felix said when people are trained; they will practice the measures.
He announced that Muslim leaders will fast and pray every Thursday and Christian leaders will do the same every Friday to fight COVID-19 pandemic.
The administrator revealed that the fasting and prayer is scheduled to be launched on Saturday June 20, live on Radio Easter in Yei.
He congratulated the religious leaders for building hope within individuals and restoring hope to people who are losing hope about the prevalence of the disease.
The State Administrator spoke during his opening of the taskforce meeting on Saturday in Yei River government secretariat.
