Solidarity International is appealing to Raja communities to redouble their efforts in agricultural activities to fight food insecurity this year.
The call came after the organization distributed seeds and tools on Wednesday morning in Khor-shamam residential area.
Solidarity International Food Security and Livelihood Supervisor, Ngor Santino says the distribution targeted vulnerable people from Korshamam; Deleba; Mangok Dengit; Gossinga; Mangayat and Raja.
He urges all the beneficiaries to make good use of the items and put more effort in agriculture to support their livelihoods.
The beneficiaries thank the organization for its usual support to the needy people in the area.
‘Today we received seeds both crops and vegetable plus tools and these items will help us to produce more foods especially in this year, say some of the beneficiaries’.
Last week, Solidarity International also distributed covid-19 kids to the people of Dulu area, to help them practice the basic preventive measures against the pandemic.
