A father whose wife gave birth to quadruplets on Wednesday in Rumbek is seeking assistance from well-wishers.
Barnaba Mapuor Dut Kuet’s wife, Elizabeth Ajok Dut recently delivered two girls and two boys at Rumbek State Hospital.
The father said with the current economic situation in South Sudan, he is going to face a lot of challenges in raising up the new born babies due to lack of money.
He is asking for help from individuals or organizations to cater for the welfare of the children.
Mapuor said his twenty-six-year-old wife and her new born babies are fine.
A midwife in the Hospital Isaac Mading Abiel is urging pregnant mothers to attend antenatal care for regular follow up to reduce child mortality.
He said these processes can help mothers deliver healthy babies without facing challenges.
The speakers made the remarks to Good News Radio at Rumbek State Hospital on Wednesday.
