The graduation of the Joint Unified Forces has been moved to next month, said Major General Lul Ruai Koang, Spokesperson of the South Sudan People’s Defence Force or SSPDF.
He told Bakhita Radio that the postponement follows the recent changes in leadership of the army.
Major General Ruai added that the graduate of the first batch of VIP protection force is set to take place on June 04 this year.
The 2018 peace agreement demands formation of a joint force of 83,000 personnel in South Sudan.
But the process has been delayed due to a number of factors.
