Police say crime drops around Juba during COVID-19 lockdown

Police in Juba say they have registered reduction in criminal activities across the city since the introduction of curfew.
 
Police spokesperson Major General Daniel Justin attributes the drop-in crime rate to partial lockdown imposed nearly two months ago.
 
He adds authorities have registered three cases of robbery and about four deaths in the past two weeks.
 
The police spokesperson mentions they are working with civil society organizations to educate the officials about COVID-19 pandemic.
 
The official spoke to the media in Juba on Tuesday.
