Unity Culture and Development Centre or UCDC conducts awareness to citizens in rural areas of Wau town about signs of COVID-19.
The coordinator of the centre Dominic James says their main targets are the elderly in remote since they are at high risk of the deadly coronavirus.
He mentions many people in villages lack knowledge about the disease
The participants say they have gained more knowledge about the virus which they did not know before and will pass the information to those who did not attain the training.
They mention they will practice the precautionary measures against the deadly virus.
The participants advised fellow citizens to follow the health regulations from the Ministry of Health in order to slow the spread of coronavirus.
The speakers made the remarks to Voice of Hope radio at Ministry of Education’s hall in Wau.
