State Ministry of Health and Environment in Western Bahr el Ghazal is calling on the national government and humanitarian organizations to give Personal Protection Equipments or PPE to states in bits to fight the corona pandemic.
Director General Dr. James Ambrose Ucin revealed that the state ministry has less than one hundred equipments which are not enough because each staff uses two per day, Voice of Hope Radio reported.
He appreciated humanitarian organizations for their great efforts in fighting the virus.
The director-general urges the NGO’s to consider the plight of state frontline workers.
The Personal Protection Equipments are protective gown, helmets; and goggles used by health workers to protection them against infections.
