Archbishop Ameyu wishes Muslims peaceful Eid celebrations

The Catholic Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin wishes the entire Muslim community in South Sudan a peaceful celebration of holy feast of Ramadan.
 
Archbishop Ameyu says the month of Ramadan is dedicated to fasting, prayers to strengthen the spiritual bond.
 
The archbishop calls on both Christians and Muslims to be friendly to others by recognizing each other as brothers and sisters.
 
He urges believers to respect and promote different culture and co-exist in peace.
 
Eid el Fitr is a religious feast celebrated annually by Muslims after thirty days of fasting.
 
The ministry of labour announced public holiday from Saturday May 23rd to Tuesday 26th May and work resumes on Wednesday.
