Director-General in Lakes Ministry of Health Makuac Anyoun said lack of funds have prevented state covid-19 high level taskforce from conducting intensive awareness campaign to people in the grass root areas.
He explained that state taskforce face financial constraint and mobility apparatus to reach deep villages to enlighten the people about the preventive measures of the coronavirus, Good News Radio reported.
Dr. Anyuon appealed to the national government and high level taskforce in Juba to allocate funds to states taskforce to fight the pandemic disease in the country.
The Director-General was speaking to Good News Radio on Thursday in Rumbek.
