United Nation development program donates a number of coronavirus protective equipments to Wau Central Prison and all the rule of law institution in Wau town.
UNDP rule of law officer Justin Nyifack says his organization is donating these gears in order to fight coronavirus in these institutions.
The UN organization gave hand sensitizers, soap, disinfectants and a number of buckets.
Prison Director Marko Ranga Akuei appreciates the gesture by UNDP in bits to fight the pandemic in the state.
He adds despite the fact that the central prison is over congested the administration will ensure prisoners practice social distancing and hand washing mechanism.
Meanwhile a representative of Wau Judiciary Dodo Jackson says the WASH items will help them carry on with their work without fear of COVID-19 in their institutions.
She appreciates the support from UNDP in the fight against COVID-19 in the country.
The speakers made the remarks to Voice of Hope Radio on Wednesday after receiving the donations from United Nations development program in Wau.
