United Nations Mission in South Sudan, or UNMISS on Tuesday installed a 3,000 liters water tank at Panda Hotel, a residence to SSPDF soldiers.
UNMISS Representative in Rumbek Jonah Marier says the tanks will be used for hand washing to prevent spread of coronavirus among soldiers at the barrack.
Brigadier General Deng Manyiel Cindut thanks UNMISS for donating water tank to the soldiers.
He advises his colleagues to make proper use of the washing facility.
South Sudan has so far recorded 347 cases of coronavirus, four recoveries and six deaths related COVID-19.
