Archbishop appeals to leaders to consider total lockdown in South Sudan

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba is calling on the government of South Sudan to consider total lockdown to prevent further spread coronavirus.
 
Archbishop Stephen Ameyu Martin prefers citizens to go for total lockdown especially in Juba where the rate of infection is very high.
 
He advises the government to distribute food to citizens during total lock down to address issues of hunger and safety from this pandemic 
 
The archbishop mentions some people look at coronavirus as if it’s not a deadly disease. 
 
The Catholic prelate encourages citizens to observe the health emergency measures seriously for their own safety.
