United Nations Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Rumbek branch on Monday donated mattresses, beds and cupboards to the State Ministry of Health to help it fight coronavirus.
Good News Radio quoted UNMISS’ Head Field Office saying the donation will be used for accommodating covid-19 patients in the state.
Director-General in the ministry of Health Makuac Anyuon expressed his gratitude to UNMISS for improving health in Rumbek.
Secretary General of defunct Western Lakes State Martin Maciec pledged government’s commitment to continue protecting lives against covid-19.
The officials made the remarks during handing over of health materials to state ministry in Rumbek on Monday.
