Wau Teaching Hospital in Western Bhar-El-Ghazal state celebrates the International Nurses Day amidst challenges.
They point out that, nurses at the Hospital face numerous challenges including salary delay, lack of some equipments among others.
Meanwhile director general at the Ministry of Health, James Ambrose Ucin acknowledges work of nurses in the country especially those in Wau.
He adds the nurses are doing great work serving patients during this difficult time of coronavirus outbreak.
Dr. Ambrose commends the role of nurses despite the many challenges; nurses still serve their patients with respect.
The nurses at Wau Teaching Hospital urge concern authorities to provide necessary COVID-19 protection equipments to the health facility.
