The High level taskforce committee on coronavirus in Western Bhar el Ghazal says there is only one isolation centre in the state.
The spokesperson of the committee who is also the Director General in the state ministry of Health Dr. James Ambrose Ucin clarifies the committee has chosen Mukta Primary Health Centre as the main and only Isolation Centre in the state.
He adds if there’s need other private and public hospitals will be used as quarantine centres.
The spokesperson notes that they will follow the orders by the national taskforce banning educational institution from being used as quarantine centres.
Communication from the presidency Number twenty-seven (27) of April 15th, 2020 says, all institutions of learning, public or private, shall not be used as temporary quarantine centres for coronavirus patients.
The spokesperson of the committee spoke to Voice of Hope radio on Wednesday at in Wau.
