South Sudan high level taskforce says it has approved for the Purchase of five refrigerators to improve the storage of samples collected for coronavirus test in the public health laboratory in South Sudan.
Addressing journalists on Sunday, it said the high level taskforce directed the ministry of environment to disinfect markets, public and private transport.
It promised to collect samples from five zones of Juba, but did not mention the specific date.
The public health laboratory released 282 test results on Sunday where thirty-six cases were confirmed positive.
Twenty-eight of the confirmed cases are South Sudanese who were granted approval to travel from Juba to states.
The taskforce adds that two Ugandans, a Kenyan and a Congolese who were sported through Nimule road were also tested positive.
The taskforce committee held its 49 meeting on Sunday under the Chairmanship of the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny.
