State Ministry of Gender Child and Social Welfare in collaboration with Bangladesh Battalion 3 in Western Bhar Ghazal state on Wednesday lunched face masks production in Wau.
UNMISS Head of field office Sum Muhmoure appreciates the cordial relationship between Battalion 3 and the ministry for starting local production of masks for vulnerable people.
He mentions a few people were trained to carry out this project.
Sum stresses that it’s a collective responsibility to ensure people fight COVID-19 by practicing the preventive measures.
Director General at the state’s ministry of gender Ann Daniel says it’s their role to take care of vulnerable people in the country.
The officials made the remarks during the launch of face masks production at the Ministry of Gender’s premises on Wednesday in Wau.
