UNMISS donate six water tanks to Public health office in Rumbek

The United Nations Missions in South Sudan or UNMISS field office on Tuesday donates six water tanks to public health office as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the state.
 
A member of state high level taskforce Famino Saut Arop says the tanks will be placed at the market and police station to encourage hands washing, Good News Radio reports.
 
A staff of public health department Samuel Wal Aduk thanked UNMISS for donating water tanks to ease hands washing and prevent possible transmission of the virus.
 
South Sudan has been recording an increase in the number of local transmission of the virus in the country with two recoveries and no death.
