State Ministry of Health in Western Bhar El Ghazal received COVID-19 preventive items as donation from United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS in Wau.
Director General James Ambrose Ucin appreciates the peace keepers and National Ministry for their support to the state.
He mentions these items will be distributed to the frontline employees.
The director explains that Ministry of health and its partners are working hard to ensure safety of citizens during this difficult time of the pandemic.
Ucin also mentions that COVID-19 isolation centre in the state will soon be ready.
The Director General explains the items received are masks and preventive gown.
‘UNMISS also promised to disinfect the health centres, market and central prison’, Ambrose adds.
