SANU national party in Western Bhar el Ghazal blames the national government for shortages of coronavirus testing kits at state level.
According to Voice of Hope radio the party’s Chairperson Rajab Hussein Dahia says the national government is focusing only on capital city Juba and ignores the states special the borders’ that monitor entrance from the neighbouring countries with the virus.
He adds the government must consider such borders and build isolations centres to quarantine suspected cases of COVID-19.
Rajab mentions the government should continue training Medical staffs in those states so that they can handle any suspected cases.
The party leader stresses South Sudan has registered 49 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and the government is not doing enough to contain the virus at state level.
SANU party’s chairperson made the remarks to Voice of Hope radio in Wau.
