Rumbek Town Court Judge Dhalbeny Makuer Gol is appealing to the government at all levels to address the rising issues of criminal activities in Lakes State.

He called on the leaders at community, county and state level to resolve what they can for peaceful and lovely environment for all.

‘I want to tell community elders, leaders at county and state level, directors in all the ministries, to do something in combating crimes because the government is the same. There is no big and small government. All play the same roles and duties. Our people sometimes say that we are waiting for the big government at national level. So on that point, i don’t agree at all because the governor yo is waiting, will not come with any other unique colours more than someone we have currently. Laws and order plus constitution of the government are in place. I say Let us see and solve what we can manage in settling cases to bring peaceful and lovely environment’, said the Town Court Judge.

Dhalbeny outlined cases of rape or pregnancy, stealing, looting people’s property, land grabbing and drugs abuse as sources of conflicts in the area.

The Town Court Judge advised people to respect laws and order.

The judge was speaking to Good News Radio on Friday morning.
