Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Diocese of Yei, Reverend Tom Poru Martin on Sunday encouraged the faithful to pray every time because they are living in a moment that needs daily prayers for God’s interventions.

Radio Easter quoted him explaining that citizens of Yei are not only undergoing the situation of corona virus, but also witnessing insecurity including displacement of civilians especially from Mukaya.

Fr Poru mentioned that it is a time of temptation which Christians should ask whether God has turned his back from the people of Yei or not.

The parish priest encouraged the faithful that those who do not know God could ask whether he will intervene in the difficult moments of corona virus and insecurity.

He wonders when the corona virus will end, saying it is only God who knows.

Fr Poru encouraged the worshipers not to stop individual prayers and always tune to Radio Easter in order to get the word of God until the end of the world.
