CEPO condemns recent sectional fighting in Rumbek East County

The Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO condemned the recent killing between armed youth of Kook-Awac and Akoorbil sections in Rumbek East County of Lakes State. 
 
CEPO State Coordinator Mabor Mangar called on President Salva Kiir Mayardit to deliver quick solution to the dire situation in Rumbek, Good News Radio reported.
 
Mabor observed state leadership vacuum as main reason why armed youth continue killing themselves.
 
He urged the national government to quickly finalize the training of unified forces to carry out comprehensive disarmaments in the country.
 
According to police report, the fighting that took place on Saturday claimed lives of sixteen people and over twenty others wounded.
