Diocesan administrator of the Catholic diocese of Wau is calling on government to disarm civilians and resolve issues of random killing taking place in Western Bhar El Ghazal State.
According to Voice of Hope radio Fr. Marko Mangu explains that, due to presences of guns in the hands of civilians there is increase in crimes and killings in Wau south.
He appeals to people with guns to stop renting it to civilians to destroy innocent lives.
The Diocesan administrator urges farmers and pastoralists to respect one another and solve their issues according to the Marial Baai agreement.
The catholic prelate encourages citizens to peaceful co-existence because South Sudan suffered many conflicts therefore it is time to rebuild lives.
