Consistent callers of Don Bosco Radio predicted that the communal conflicts in Tonj, may affect farming this year.
 
Action Mabeny warned that many farmers are in IDP camps and it is difficult for them to return to their various homes because of the situation.
 
He added that the state will face serious hunger should the government fail to intervene and resolve the issues.
 
Another caller who identified his name as Chol Migration said there is no hope that people will cultivate if such atrocities continue.
 
He requested both the state and the national governments to quickly resolve the problems within the remaining days of cultivation.
 
Deng 4 good said it is a collective responsibility to work together to stop the senseless fighting.
