Top commanders say coronavirus more dangerous to IDPs in camps

Top officers and members in the state high taskforce committee on coronavirus has warned that COVID-19 is more dangers to IDPs staying in PoCs.
 
South Sudan People Defence Force or SSPDF commander of Division Five, Abraham Gum, urged everybody to prevent themselves from the virus before it worsens.
 
Deputy Police Commissioner for Western Bahr-El-Ghazal State, Kon Mel Ayok, pointed out that if the virus breaks out in the POC it means no one will be allowed to move outside POC.
 
National security officer, Santino Deng urged the IDPs to put efforts to return to their homes because there is no insecurity in residential areas.
 
The officials were giving awareness to internally displaced persons at the Protection of Civilians’ site on Thursday in Wau.
