Director of Tonj Civil Hospital, Mathiang Agany Akol, appealed to the public to observe social distancing in the health facility and other places.
He said distancing from one person to another helps prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19.
Dr Agany advised the people to wash more often with clean water and soap and stop shaking of hands.
The Director urged those who know the precautionary measures to sensitize others because it is a collective responsibility.
He also requested youth to avoid playing dominos and cards because it is very risky.
