Concern Worldwide on Friday trained 20 health personnel from St Bakhita Health Center, Martha Clinic and EPC Health Center on corona virus in Yei.

Assistant Project officer for Ebola and COVID-19, Batali Oliver George, said the training was to ensure screening in health facilities and usage of personal protective equipment.

Oliver added that more similar courses will be conducted to keep the knowledge and capacity on the corona virus.

It is important for citizens to know the preventive measures because the community will be vulnerable since the disease is contagious, he noted.

He encouraged the people to continue maintaining the social distancing because it can easily be transmitted if people do not take the measures seriously.

Emmanuel Jaja Ojas clinical officer at St Bakhita Health Center admitted they benefited in the training and he can detect and identify cases of corona virus disease.
