Eight hundred and one vulnerable people in Tonj receive food ration donated by World Food Programme and Relief and Rehabilitation Commission.
According to Don Bosco radio, acting coordinator Santino Chol Garang says the food ratio delayed due to logistical challenges hence they doubled ratios for two months.
He points out that the food distribution targets vulnerable people and children under five years.
Chol explains the food is important to this group of people because some of them suffer from malnutrition especially children.
Meanwhile one of the beneficiaries Acholung Mathiang appreciates the authorities for considering the vulnerable with food during this difficult time.
Another beneficiary Aderic Mabior says the food will keep him from begging for food from others.
