“Christians will accompany Jesus to crucifixion amidst suffering”, says Bishop

We are going to accompany Jesus Christ our Lord to his crucifixion amidst great suffering, Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe of the Catholic Diocese of Yei told Christians during the mass of the Lord’s Supper on Thursday.
 
He explained that faithful will escort him as his followers to show their great love and gratitude, Radio Easter reported.
 
The Bishop noted that Christians in the whole world are locked down without communal Eucharistic celebrations in their churches because of the corona virus pandemic
 
He encouraged that the faithful remain in him and he in them always to the end of time Christ knows sympathizes and accompany worshipers during great period of fear and suffering he stresses
 
The Catholic prelate told the faithful to take the word of Christ to accompany the world with His presence that leads people during difficult situation.
 
Anything that is not of God that cause suffering to people will end and that COVID-19 pandemic situation will end because it is not of God, he advised the congregation.
 
The Church leader urged faithful to be confident and put trust in the Lord who cares for human nature during difficult moments.
 
Bishop Lodu was encouraging Christians on Thursday through Radio Easter during the Lords supper mass in Yei.
