Police spokesperson says two young men were kidnapped on Sunday night in Malith Village of former Eastern Bar-Naam County of the defunct Western Lakes State.
Captain Elijah Mabor Makuac says the whereabouts of the abducted men is still unknown.
He says this is the first time cases of abduction has occurred in the state.
The captain urges kidnapers to return the abductees peacefully to the county authorities.
Mabor advises young people to desist from criminal activities for peace to prevail in the state.
The police spokesperson spoke to Good News Radio on Monday in Rumbek.
