South Sudanese students studying in Ethiopia are facing challenges after shut down of schools due to COVID-19, one of the learners, Daniel Gaaniko told Anisa Radio on Thursday.

He said the administration of Ethiopia asked the students to leave the campus, and that airport has been closed and accommodation and feeding has become a problem now for them.

Gaaniko also said the governments of Ethiopia and South Sudan are expected to give their results on Friday.

He said all South Sudan students in Ethiopia who have been staying in hostels are now at their embassy.

Gaaniko appealed to citizens of South Sudan to pray for them.

Last weekend the government of Ethiopia ordered all foreign students including South Sudanese to leave to their countries.
