There are no testing kits and preventives materials for corona virus in Lakes State ministry of Health, said Makuac Anyuon Director-General.
He told Good News Radio that there is only one laboratory in Juba to test COVID-19 and that any sample taken from a suspect takes long to get results.
Anyuon said health personnel who could help fight the pandemic disease do not have protective materials.
He called on national Ministry of Health and the whole government to urgently equip health workers to be ready for any eventuality.
The Director-General spoke to Good News Radio on Wednesday in Rumbek, Lakes State.
