Wau Youth United for Fashion and Talent Development Centre in partnership with Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa or SIHA network to launch a film entitled ‘My Right’.
The film is aimed to bring change in the society and to the people of South Sudan.
Chief executive officer of the centre Denis Joseph Amudek, says the film features different categories of people like women, youth and elders.
He adds the film tells a story of a woman who is fighting for her rights after the death of her husband.
Amudek mentions the actors are members of the centre and people from the community.
He points out some of the challenges facing their film industry but regardless there is a great hope for the future.
The movie ‘My Rights’ will compete with nine other films for best film award at South Sudan Film Festival in November this year.
The speaker spoke to Voice of Hope radio on Tuesday in his office at Wau sport complex.
